Tuf Cooper on His 2021 Season Thus Far

Tuf Cooper currently sits in second place in the PRCA Tie-Down Roping World Standings just behind Shane Hanchey. Cooper has earned over $72,000 on the season and gives a lot of credit to his new horse.

“I got a new horse, called Blanco, I call him Bro. He has really changed my life. He is a great horse, he is showing me things like how I can improve.”

Cooper and Shane Hanchey are no strangers to competing against each other.

“We grew up together, we started homeschooling when we were both in the 10th grade about two weeks apart. We became best friends when we were younger. It has been awesome to grow up with Shane and to watch him rope.”

Cooper and Hanchey have separated themselves from the rest of the field as they have more than doubled-up Caleb Smidt who currently sits in third place.
