The legendary JB Mauney gets the win at Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Xtreme Bulls

JB Mauney is known for getting big scores on some of the rankest bulls going up and down the rodeo road.

Last night in Weatherford, Texas at the Parker County Sheriffs Posse Xtreme Bulls he did just that. Going for 90.5 points on United ProRodeo’s The Duke, Mauney took home his first Xtreme Bulls win of the season.

In June, JB Mauney has solidified his position in the Top 15 of the PRCA World Bull Riding Standings. He is 4-for-4 in the month with four rodeo wins. All four rides have been marked 88 points or better and Mauney has already won north of $9,000 since the calendar turned to June.

“I’ve always been one where if I set my mind to something I tend to see it through and you know, the main thing is, I’m back to having fun,” Mauney said. “When I have fun, I ride loose and cool like I’m supposed to and that’s all that matters.”

He has also placed in four consecutive X Bulls events dating back to early May, including his second place finish for going 90 on Space Unicorn in Del Rio.
