Haven Meged is looking to make his third-consecutive NFR and win the second Gold Buckle of his career. Meged now sits in sixth place in the World Standings after a big Cowboy Christmas that saw him make just over $16,000.

Meged’s biggest win came at the St.Paul Rodeo where he took first place in the average and made $5,175. Haven also finished in first place in round one at Prescott where he earned $2,829.

Meged was hot going into Cowboy Christmas, with a $5,000 win at the Rodeo of the Ozarks, and will look to continue his rise in the standings.

It’ll be difficult to catch the top-two men in the standings as Shane Hanchey and Tuf Cooper both have over $100,000 in earnings on the year, but Meged’s $60,066 have him just $12,000 out of third place.
