NCHA Futurity Crowns its 2021 Champions

The National Cutting Horse Association just held his NCHA Metallic Cat Futurity at Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. This could be considered the most sought after and prestigious title in cutting.

With 28 horses making it to the final round, Austin Shepard and Wood She B Magic split third and fourth in the open. Wood She B Magic sold for over $1 million. Adan Banuelos and Hottish Metal is the team that Shepard split third with.

Cara Brewer and Tagging are the 2021 NCHA Futurity Reserve Champions after scoring 227.5 points.

John Mitchell was riding Janie Wood when he scored 230 to tie the record and win the NCHA Metallic Cat Futurity. This is a mare by Stevie Rey Von and she is one of the first of his offspring to cut and she set the standard.
