Arena Director Casey Harp talks all things Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo

Casey Harp is the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Arena Director and he is also a part of Rafter G Rodeo Company.

This year is the 125th annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo and it will be the second time ever being held at Dickies Arena.

“I think I can speak for everyone around the metroplex and especially the stock show and Rafter G that the thing we are most excited about is having a dadgum rodeo,” Harp said.

The FWSSR is bringing back the tournament style that they had in 2020, there will be 18 performances, seven brackets and contestants can advance to the Wild Card Round or the Semi Finals and then there is the Finals that will take place on February 5, 2022.

Before the rodeo starts there are multiple events taking place including the Best of the West Ranch Rodeo, Best of Mexico Celebracion, Cowboys of Color Rodeo, Bulls’ Night Out Xtreme Bull Riding and the Texas Champions Challenge.

The two week event begins on January 14 and it will all be on The Cowboy Channel and The Cowboy Channel + app.
