WATCH: Every Winning Ride and Run from The American Rodeo

The American Rodeo paid the winners a combined $3.2 million this year with bull rider Kaqiue Pacheco becoming the first ever $2 million winner. Here is a look at all of the winners and how each Shootout Round played out.

BREAKAWAY ROPING

Jackie Crawford was the only breakaway roper to have a clean run in the Shootout Round. She was 2.26 seconds to win the rodeo. Kelsie Domer was second with a time of 12.3 seconds.

BAREBACK RIDING

For the second consecutive year Tilden Hooper rode Frontier Rodeo’s Gun Fire in the Shootout to win The American. This year, he was 91 points, edging Kaycee Feild by a half point and Jess Pope by a point. Hooper also won Sunday’s Long Round.

Jesse Brown’s 3.76 second run got him the biggest win of his life on Sunday. Trell Etbauer, a qualifier, was second in the Shootout with a time of 4.13 seconds and reigning World Champion Tyler Waguespack was third with a 4.43 second run

The only two cowboys to make the whistle in the Shootout went 90 and it was Dawson Hay who came out on top. He was 90.5 points and Chase Brooks was 90.

Reigning World Champion Caleb Smidt tied one in 6.87 seconds to win The American for the second time since 2019. He beat out 13-time NFR qualifier Tuf Cooper (7.60) and Jr. NFR Champion Riley Webb (7.81) in the Shootout.

BARREL RACING

The reigning RAM National Circuit Finals champion Shelley Morgan raced to a time of 14.609 seconds to edge reigning World Champion Jordon Briggs by three hundredths of a second in the Shootout.

TEAM ROPING

In team roping, NFR Average Champions Andrew Ward/Buddy Hawkins II were the only ones to make a clean run and they did so with an impressive 3.69 second time.

BULL RIDING

Kaique Pacheco won the bull riding and he won big. As the only qualifier to win, Pacheco won the $2 million bonus with an 89 point ride on Frontier Rodeo’s County Jail. Sage Kimzey was second with 88.5 points, he was the only other cowboy to ride in the Short Round.
