The Historic Fort Worth Stockyards & the PBR World Finals

Visit Fort Worth’s CEO Bob Jameson is all about Forth Worth and with the upcoming events like the PBR World Finals and all that it entails, Jameson caught up with our own Katy Lucas in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards.

“I like to call it the heart of Fort Worth, perhaps a better word is the soul of Fort Worth. This is where we began,” Jameson said.

The Fort Worth Stockyards inhibits all that is Texas and then some. With its iconic American image representing the West, it attracts visitors from around the World. It is a well preserved community that draws in millions.

Over the next two weeks, during the PBR World Finals, Jameson says that the Stockyards is critical. Between the Parade of Champions, Cowtown Coliseum, when people are not at Dickies Arena, they can be expected to be found in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
