Rodeo clown Flint Rasmussen has now been with the PBR 17 years. Each and every weekend the 54-year-old continues to make people laugh at PBR events.
And while he says he’s on the downhill side of his career, he has no plans to retire right now because not performing at rodeos would leave him with a hole.
“To hear that instant reaction from the crowd, to make their day a little better and I feel like I’ll walk away when I don’t feel like I’m still the best one,” Rasmussen said. “I feel like I’m still doing a good job at my job and it really is rewarding when you go in front of 15,000 people and they cheer for you....It’s a really addictive thing.”
Rasmussen started with the PRCA when he was 25-years-old and was Clown of the Year eight times before transitioning to the PBR in 2005.
