The Stetson Wright Invitational is now in its second year, and according to the man himself, there would be a lot less complaining to rodeo committees if every cowboy had to put on their own rodeo.
“It scared me (at first) and a lot of work goes into it, but my mom helps a lot, she pretty much puts it on, so a lot of the credit goes to her,” he said. “My mom takes care of everything outside the arena and I try to take care of everything inside it.”
He says he tries to involve the entire family as brothers Rusty, Ryder and Statler whether it’s running the out gates or popping latches. Ryder also ropes the bulls.
The Stetson Wright Invitational airs on The Cowboy Channel and PRCA on The Cowboy Channel+ App at 10 PM ET on May 14.
