Powder River Rodeo’s SweetPro’s Bruiser has passed away after a long-term injury began to exacerbate and cause additional health issues.
SweetPro’s Bruiser retired in 2021 after an extremely successful career. Bruiser won many awards such as the 2017 PRCA Bull of the Year, along with earning the title of top bull at the NFR in 2015, 2017, and 2019.
Just before going into retirement, SweetPro’s Bruiser was named bull of the night at the 2021 NFR after making an incredible ride in Round 8, where Sage Kimzey scored 94 points.
Kimzey gave his thoughts via Instagram on Bruiser’s passing.
Powder River Rodeo’s SweetPro’s Bruiser will forever be remembered by the fans and the many athletes that were able to play a part in Bruiser’s life and rodeo career.
