Garrett Smith Wins Reno Xtreme Bulls

Garrett Smith was not going to be stopped last night at the Reno Xtreme Bulls. He was one of just two of the 40 cowboys to ride two bulls and capped his evening off with a rodeo-winning 91-point ride. In. the first round, Smith went for 86.5 points which was the third-highest marked ride.

Smith knows how important it is to get his summer run started off like this.

“This is awesome, especially starting off the year like this. I don’t even know what to say I am just pretty excited to get this one for the old man back home who keeps scaring us. It is a good thing we got this win.”

As good as Smith has been in his career, this was his first Xtreme Bulls title.

“This is awesome, it’s honestly my first Xtreme Bulls buckle, so this is pretty exciting.”

With the win, Smith earned over $18,000 and jumped from tenth in the PRCA World Standings to seventh.
