Stetson Wright Wins Round, Looks to Defend Saddle Bronc Riding Title in Cheyenne

Stetson Wright rode Stace Smith’s Conference Call for 84.5 points to win Day 3 of the Cheyenne Frontier Days and take the first step toward repeating as Saddle Bronc Riding Champion.

Afterward, Wright admitted he was struggling the bronc riding and being in the rig with brothers Statler and Ryder as well as bull rider Ky Hamilton helped him stay focused.

“I’ve had a tough couple of weeks in the bronc riding,” Wright said. “They’ve turned it around for me, what a better way to show out than the Cheyenne Frontier Days.

At Cheyenne Frontier Days the Semifinals are made up of the Top 4 from six different Long Round performances. Isaac Diaz, Ryder Wright and Will Pollock are the other three moving on from Monday’s competition.
