Stetson Wright Follows Up Win in Cheyenne With Round Win in Lea County

Stetson Wright has had quite a week. Over the weekend he took down the Daddy of em’ All and on Wednesday he got the round win in Lea County after an 88-point ride. Wright was matched up against Fox Hole Gunner, a horse he had failed to ride earlier in the season.

“Really good horse, I got on her earlier this year in San Angelo and I didn’t do my job. I made sure I did it here today. That horse is just awesome.”

Wright added that all he has to do is trust himself and the results will follow.

“I stayed out of my own way, I’m a really good rider when I stay out of my own way.”

Stetson is currently in second place in the PRCA World Saddle Bronc standings behind Sage Newman.
