Steer Wrestler Tristan Martin Earns Big Win at Farm-City Pro Rodeo by Six Tenths

When Tristan Martin goes to Oregon, he walks away with a win and the Farm-City Pro Rodeo in Hermiston was no different.

“I ride some really good horses. I drew two really good steers and I just made really good runs and it all worked out,” Martin said.

Martin cinched his first ever National Finals Rodeo qualification in 2021 with a huge win in Pendleton and this season, he sits within the Top 10 in the World with just over a month left in the regular season.

He won Round 1 in Hermiston with a 3.6 and came back to best his time in Round 2 by two tenths to win the go-round and the Average, making him you 2022 Farm-City Pro Rodeo Steer Wrestling Champion. He earned $9,999 for the win, more than $3,500 more than the next closest bulldogger.
