The PBR Global Cup has announced their coaches and teams and representing Team Canada as the coach is Tanner Byrne.
Byrne had success as a four -time PBR World Finalist and he now fights bulls and he is adding to his resume with this PBR Global Cup opportunity.
“I was very excited when I got that call, it’s a big accomplishment for me. The Global Cup is somethingI always looked forward to every year, it’s one of my favorite events,” Byrne said.
Byrne has also represented Canada the PBR Global Cup before and it is unlike any other event. It turns bull riding into a team sport and also gives the teams a chance to represent their country.
“You’re riding for your country so if that doesn’t get you fired up, doesn’t get you pumped up to do the best that you can possibly do and not quit until your head hits the ground… it brings out the best in the competitors,” he said.
The PBR Global Cup takes place inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on March 5.
