Tanner Green knew what he had to do in the Short-Go of the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo as he capitalized on a familiar steer to take home the Championship Title.
“I’m just happy I got it done on that kind of calf, I don’t know, I wasn’t nervous about it but I knew I had to get to the left to catch him,” Green said.
Green qualified for the Semifinals after securing an aggregate time of 19.2 seconds on two head in Bracket No. 5 to finish out in second place alongside Colton Clemons and Dylan Hancock.
A run of 9.4 seconds was just what Green needed in Semifinals 3 to lock in his position in the Final Round where he ultimately secured the No. 1 spot with a quick 7.3-second run, taking home a total of $7,436 in earnings from Denver.
