Team Ropers Derrick Begay and Jonathan Torres Get Set to Rope as a Team at the NFR

The newest partners on the block in Las Vegas will be Derrick Begay and Jonathan Torres

As we near the National Finals Rodeo at the inconic Thomas and Mack arena in Las Vegas, the team ropers are gearing up to do their part in the fight for a Gold Buckle.

Of the 15 teams that you will see, all but one have been partners all season long.

Header Derrick Begay will be roping with heeler Jonathan Torres for ten rounds.

Begay’s partner for the season was Colter Todd while Torres roped with Nelson Wyatt. While each had success during the regular season, they each had different success than their partner and the results of that are a new partner come December.

Begay comes in as the No. 15 header in the World while Torres is futher up the ladder as the No. 11 heeler in the PRCA World Standings.
