The Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo is now set to begin today. It is the 75th annual rodeo that began with 13 men in 1947 with the goal of preserving Western Heritage in Parker County. Today, the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse has close to 150 men and women involved.
The entire weeklong event begins on June 7 with slack beginning at 8:00 AM CT through June 10. Friday morning is left open for the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse to play a softball game against Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s team. Pete Carr Pro Rodeo is the official stock contractor of the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo.
