The WPRA Election Concludes and the Votes Have Been Counted

The newest WPRA President and more has been announced.

The Women’s Professional Rodeo Association is the oldest women’s sports organization in the country and they ahve named their newest president and vice president after its members voted in March.

Heidi Uecker-Schmidt is your President after serving as Vice President under Jimmie Munroe. Julie Herman’s time as a Circuit Director has come to a close and the door for Vice President is all hers.

“It has been an hornor to serve on the WPRA Board of Directors under three great presidents, Carolyn Vietor, Doreen Wintermute and Jimmie Munroe. I look forward to using the knowledge gained from these great women to help the WPRA move into the future,” Uecker-Schmidt said.

The newest chapter of the WPRA includes the following as Circuit Directors:

Columbia River: Kacey Gartner

First Frontier: Chrissy Chromczak

Montana: Dillon McPherson

Mountain States: Shelley Vossler

Southeastern: Ashley Rogers

Texas: Lois Ferguson

Wilderness: No nominees accepted to be on an election ballot

Roping Director 2 - West Region Roping Director: Tibba Smith

These directors will take office on March 21, 2025.
