Three-Time NFR Qualifier Clayton Sellars on Transition from PRCA to PBR

After making the NFR in three straight years and winning the ProRodeo Tour Finale in 2021, Clayton Sellars is off to a new challenge and is riding bulls in the PBR in 2022.

Sellars is currently No. 25 in the PBR World Standings and looks poised to stay in the Top 35 and qualify for his PBR World Finals in May. He has ridden 16-of-46 bulls overall in 2022 and is 8-of-28 with four Top 10s on the Unleash The Beast Tour. He also has three Top 5s on the Pendleton Whiskey Velocity Tour, the PBR’s premier developmental tour.

“As far as the last couple weeks have been, it’s been awesome, man. I feel like I’m right where I’m supposed to be and I feel like I’m getting on the bulls I’m supposed to be getting on and competing against the guys I’m supposed to be competing with,” Sellars said. “It’s taken a little longer than I thought to start knocking ‘em down, but I’m feeling great and ready for all they can give me.”

Sellars made more than $500,000 in his four full seasons as a PRCA bull rider.

You can see the full interview with Sellars here and watch Road to PBR Finals every Sunday at 8 PM ET on The Cowboy Channel and The Cowboy Channel+.
