Tie-Down Roper Jarvis Demery Gets Biggest Win of Career at Rodeo Corpus Christi

The college cowboy beat a few tie-down roping up-and-comers in the Triple Crown Round

Jarvis Demery has made $27,257 in his WCRA career and $24,500 came last week at Rodeo Corpus Christi.

The college cowboy burst onto the scene with runs of 8.4, 10.3 and 7.85 seconds before a 7.52 in the Triple Crown Round to seal the deal.

“Honestly, it’s a dream come true (to compete against the best in Corpus Christi),” he said. “I’m looking forward (to these events) every day.

The other qualifiers for the Triple Crown Round were Quade Hiatt and Trevor Hale who are ranked No. 19 and 22 in the PRCA this season.
