Tie-Down Roper Riley Webb Capitalizes in Round 2 at the Calgary Stampede

Riley Webb’s talent showed as he got the Pool B Round 2 win to keep in the game

The reigning World Champion Riley Webb had a tough start at the Calgary Stampede, but he came back for redemption in Round 2 of Pool B and got just that. A 7.2-second run cinched him the Go-Round win by just a tenth of a second over Kincade Henry.

“He just lets you do your job every time. I think I had the same throw both times and if you’ve got consistency in our sport, if you hit the barrier and have the same throw every time you’re going to win a lot,” Webb said.

The horsepower that Webb backs into the box on is his great horse Boots, who make his job easy and proves Webb’s statement true as the duo has a long list of accolades.

One run can turn it all around and that is the case for Webb, he now sits No. 3 in money earned going into Round 3 behind Shane Hanchey and Kincade Henry. All three of those cowboys will finish out Pool B on Wednesday night at 3:30 PM ET on The Cowboy Channel and Cowboy Channel+.
