Tilden Hooper No. 1 in the PRCA Bareback Riding World Standings heading into NFR

Tilden Hooper is heading to his eighth NFR in December, this time as the No. 1 bareback rider in the PRCA World Standings.

Hooper won two huge rodeos this year, RFD-TV’s The American in March and Reno in June. Those two wins made up $64,080 of his $161,952 earned in 2021.

Hooper had 42 rides go for 85 points or more, which was by far the highest mark of his career. His orevious best came in 2019 when he had 31. Hooper also set a career-high in Go-Round wins with 12 in 2021.

Hooper’s best finish of his career was No. 3 in 2018. He made $245,583 that year.
