2020 World Champion tie-Down roper Shad Mayfield swept the leaderboard in North Platte, Nebraska as he turned in the two fastest runs of the Buffalo Bill Rodeo to attain the Timed Event Athlete of the Week Title.
Mayfield finished out both Rounds 1 and 2 in the top spot earning a Go-Round check for each. A split for No. 1 in Round 2 with Cash Fuesz cinched Mayfield an additional $1,597 while his Round 1 win was worth just over $1,700.
An aggregate time of 15.4 seconds secured Mayfield the first place average check bringing his total earnings to $5,849 at the Buffalo Bill Rodeo.
With four wins added to his resume this season Mayfield is currently sitting at No. 3 in the PRCA World Standings with $58,941 in earnings.
