TJ Gray’s first 90-point ride of his career came at a great time. He was marked 90 points in the Finals of the Cheyenne Frontier Days to get a big win and bolster his season earnings.
Gray is on quite a streak of solid riding, something that he knew would come when things weren’t going his way earlier this year.
“It feels real good when you are on a streak like I’m on right now. When you have some tough times you keep craving for when the good times come, and I sure am glad they’re here.”
It was Gray’s first appearance at the Cheyenne Frontier Days and it will go down as a memorable one.
“This is my first time here to Cheyenne. It’s obviously a legendary rodeo and I couldn’t be any happier the way it turned out.”
Gray is inside the top 10 in the PRCA Bull Riding World Standings and has surpassed the $120,000 mark on the season.
