Trevor Brazile and Miles Baker Talk Relentless Remuda and Its Path to Success

One thing about Trevor Brazile and Miles Baker’s success is that it is all about the horse.

Miles Baker’s day gets started before the sun is up at the Flying B as he sets horses up to be the stellar athletes we see at the professional level. He calls Snyder, Oklahoma home and that is where it all started.

“I had the luxury of getting on good colts when I was young. My dad had an eye for good horses. He always had good two and three year olds,” Baker said.

Baker got the feel for talented horses at a young age and knew he had it in him to take that caliber of horse to the next level.

“These younger horses, they put in work. It’s just like an athlete. They’re just constantly pushing themselves, exhausting themselves, it’s hot, they need to recover. It’s our responsibility to make sure that we keep them physically fit and strong,” he said.

The other half of the Flying B is a household name, Hall of Famer Trevor Brazile.

“The starts kind of aligned when it come around to Trevor and I’s partnership. He was retiring from rodeo and when he retired he started sending me some horses. I rode the horses in Oklahoma for the first probably two, three years,” Baker said.

After a bad tornado in Oklahoma, Baker made the move to Texas and now, the duo is more like family.
