Tristan Martin has an emotional win in Pendleton.
Martin won the First Short with a 4.5-second run and then threw his Short Go steer in 4.4 seconds to win enough money to move him into the Top 15 and secure his spot in Las Vegas this December.
MARTIN’S SHORT ROUND RUN
“I’m just so emotional. Her biggest dream was for me to make the NFR and she wont be with me but she’s with me on that horse every time I nod my head,” Martin said about his late grandmother.
Martin moved into the No. 11 spot in the PRCA Steer Wrestling World Standings with $65,071 and just one week of rodeo left in the regular season.
