Tristan Martin Stays Consistent in Guymon to Take the Lead

Tristan Martin pulled a check in both Round 1 and 2 of the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo and it is looking like he will do it again in Round 3. There are three performances left but Martin stopped the clock at 3.8 in Friday’s performance to go to the top of the leaderboard in the round and the average.

“I’ve just always loved this rodeo, I’ve placed a couple times… I’ve always liked it and wanted to win it,” Martin said.

Martin has been the definition of consistency in Oklahoma this week. He was a 3.9 in both Rounds 1 and 2 before he was 3.8 in Round 3.

“I’ve drawn really good and I ride some really good horses,” he said.

Martin has a tribe up in the stands watching in Guymon making his success that much better. There are three performances left but Martin is sitting in a very good spot.
