Twisted Skillet has the cheesy goodness of queso flameado at the NFR Tailgate Party

Kirbe Schnoor stops by to visit Twisted Skillet’s Sean Koehler at the NFR Tailgate party as he whips up some queso flameado.

Queso flameado is melted cheese with spicy chorizo and is sometimes compared to a cheese fondue, but Koehler serves it up the Texas rancher way.

This is a dish that can be an appetizer or just a good cheesy meal for anytime of the day.

Twisted Skillet’s menu is inspired by hill country and ranch cuisine, but with a modern twist!

They also make it a priority to take the talents of local farmers, rancher, chefs, cheesemakers, winemakers, brewers, distillers, and more to create their amazing dishes. Their menu utilizes local and seasonal ingredients.
