Ty Harris Performance Gets His Hometown Crowd Going

Ty Harris’ performance in San Angelo last night got the crowd on their feet. The hometown cowboy stopped the clock at 7.7 seconds to move to No. 1 in the average and secure his spot in the final performance.

“This crowd, you could probably feel the energy on tv, it’s unreal, it’ll make the hair on your arms standup,” Harris said.

There was one person that is normally in the front row of the San Angelo Rodeo, Harris’ grandmother. He said he looked up to that front row but he knew that she has the best seat in the house and she watches every time he ropes.

“I sure wish she was here but I’m sure glad she gets to watch every time I rope,” he said.

The hometown hero comes back to the Final Round tonight and it is no question that the San Angelo crowd will be there in full force for their hometown cowboy.
