Bull rider Wacey Schalla took advantage of a last minute opportunity at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, making each second count as he turned in an 85.5-point ride on United Pro Rodeo’s Happy Days to lead Round 2 of Bracket 6.
“It was awesome, like I said Stetson and Ky said he’s a good bull so I just went with that and I just gave it my all,” Schalla said.
World Champion and Schalla’s good friend Ky Hamilton turned out of the performance, leaving a position open in the bracket.
Although Schalla won’t be returning to Dickies Arena for a shot at the Short-Go this season, he walks away with $2,166 in earnings as well as a Round win.
