Saddle bronc rider Wade Sundell is out for the final five rounds of the Wrangler NFR after sustaining an injury during the grand entry on Monday night.
Sundell was bucked off during the grand entry and fractured a vertebrae in the middle of his back, according to Dr. Tandy Freeman. The injury will not require surgery.
Sundell did ride in Round 5 and was bucked off. He won Round 4 Sunday night after being bucked off of his first three horses.
