With 86.5 points on Thursday night, two-time World Champion Zeke Thurston leads the saddle bronc riding at the Redding Rodeo.
“You kind of get in the zone, you get focused, your adrenaline starts pumping and you suck your hat down and try your hardest,” he said.
Thurston edged Jake Watson by a half-point to win the Go-Round.
