West Henderson made his first big win at the Will Rogers Coliseum at the NCHA Kit Kat Sugar Super Stakes. Will says the whole experience was amazing as he was named the 5/6-Year-Old Limited Non-Pro Classic Champion.
West purchased his horse, Ultra Brow Time, from Austin Shepard and has had some ups and downs with this mare but is fortunate to have found such a great fit.
“Behind the scenes, she is a little wild, she’s a little hot thing. A couple of days before I had to show her, I got on and got her out there and she was just kind of wanting to run and buck and play around …. when it is time to show, she comes around”, Henderson says as he describes Ultra Brow Time’s fun & fiery personality.
West had a great team in his corner and had a score of 221 points for both runs.
