WPRA Announces 2021 Committee and Contract Awards and Among the Recipients is The Cowboy Channel

The Women’s Professional Rodeo Association announced their 2021 Committee and Contract Award winners last week.

These awards go to individuals and teams that work year-round to make rodeos happen and that honor cowgirls and the western heritage. From committees that keep the rodeo rolling to the stock contractors that advocate for all aspects of the industry the WPRA honors the valuable members of the rodeo community with these awards.

The Cowboy Channel is fortunate enough to be the first ever recipient of the Innovative Media Partner Award.

“It is an honor to receive the first ever, Innovative Media Partner Award from the WPRA. To be recognized alongside this group of highly esteemed individuals and companies is a privilege. The Cowboy Channel has a passion for elevating women’s professional rodeo and we look forward to continuing to blaze new trails by shining the spotlight on cowgirls across all our media platforms,” said Raquel Gottsch, The Cowboy Channel CEO.

Among the other award recipients are Cheyenne Frontier Days, Resistol, Carr Pro Rodeo and Jimmie Munroe.

The recipients will be recognized during the WPRA Star Celebration at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday, December 2.
