Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi has left no doubt that she can jockey the best of the best when it comes to barrel horses. The imported mount she is conquering RodeoHouston on is an Australian equine athlete, Cashin In The Fame, also known as Bobby. Your WPRA Athlete of the Week rounded out Super Series 2 with $6,500 in her pocket.

Pozzi Tonozzi and Bobby clocked the second-fastest time we have seen so far with a 14.37 in Round 2 to cinch the win by seven hundreths of a second. Before that, they claimed the Round 1 win by three-tenths of a second to set the pace. While a down barrel in Round 3 cost them first, they still pulled a sixth-place check to keep adding to their earnings.

Pozzi Tonozzi currently sits No. 5 in the WPRA World Standings and even with three Gold Buckles, RodeoHouston is a win that has yet to come her way. She is gunning to change that and get a headstart on the 2025 regular season.
