Fallon Taylor claimed a Gold Buckle thanks to a little sorrel mare that she calls Babyflo but it has been a decade since Taylor has qualified for the National Finals Rodeo. With the success she is having on FuryTyme, a bay mare that she calls Puma, Taylor is well on her way to the possibility of a second Gold Buckle making her your WPRA Athlete of the Week.
Taylor picked up a win in Mercedes, Texas at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show and Rodeo when she clocked a 15.48-second run. The horsepower is picking up for Taylor as this is Puma’s seventh career win on the professional rodeo road.
After cashing in $5,300 in their home state, Taylor and Puma made a stop at the Southeastern Livestock Exposition to pick up another check thanks to a 15.10-second run.
Taylor is your WPRA Athlete of the Week after finding success, once again, at the Rio Grande this time, on the Puma Cat.
