Wyatt Casper put together a great 2024 NFR where he won the average after going 853.0 on 10. Casper placed in all but three rounds and took home more than $219,000 at the rodeo, the ninth most of any competitor.
“I was pretty excited to get 10 of them twisted. It was the first time in my five NFRs to get all 10 of them rode. To be able to do it and be the best on 10 was pretty outstanding.”
Casper injured his ankle in Round 7 of the NFR, but that wouldn’t slow him down. In Round 8 he placed third and would go 80.5 and 85.5 in Rounds 9 and 10 to secure the average.
When the dust settled, Casper finished third in the PRCA Saddle Bronc World Standings with over $439,000 earned on the season.
