Five Fast Facts: Shane Hanchey Climbs the Standings, Rookies Get the Spotlight and More

It was another eventful week in rodeo with the Clovis Rodeo and the Resistol Rookie Roundup Presented by The Cowboy Channel taking place.

Here is a look at five fast facts you may have missed from the weekend brought to you by Zero In.

1: Four top-ranked rookies won the Resistol Rookie Roundup. Steer Wrestler Cash Robb, Bareback Rider Keenan Hayes, and Team Ropers Cole Thomas and Kaden Profili all took home the win.

2: Steer Wrestler Cash Robb became the second cowboy to win the Long Round and the Short Round at the Rookie Roundup. He opened the rodeo with a time of 3.9 seconds to win the Long Round and followed that up with a time of 3.1 seconds in the Finals.

3: Sage Kimzey is climbing the World Standings again. This time he jumps 10 spots after a win at the George Paul Memorial. Kimzey won the rodeo with rides of 90.5 points and 88 points. After the win, Kimzey now sits at No. 10 in the PRCA World Standings.

4: Shane Hanchey doubled his season earnings thanks to a massive showing at the Clovis Rodeo. Hanchey won the rodeo after going 38.4 seconds on four head. With the win, Hanchey won over $12,500 and jumped from No. 43 to No. 13 in the PRCA World Standings.

5: Clayton Biglow won three California Rodeos over the weekend, including a big win in Clovis. His win in Clovis earned him over $10,000. Biglow also won the Lakeside Rodeo and the Springville Sierra Rodeo.
